What I Do.

The story so far.

With 12+ years of experience at the intersection of music and technology, I’m an award-winning senior music executive, who has worked with some of the world’s most exciting music talents and brands.

I’ve led award-winning, chart-topping and critically-acclaimed music marketing campaigns for some of the world’s hottest emerging and established artists, including Arlo Parks, Bicep, Bonobo, Christine and the Queens, FKA twigs, Four Tet, Fontaines D.C., Ghetts, Giggs, IDLES, Kylie Minogue, Robyn, Sigrid, TSHA, Wet Leg and many, many more. I’ve also worked for and with some of the biggest and most successful music brands, including Spotify, Ninja Tune, Domino Records, Island Records, Warp Records, Beggars Group, The Orchard, Believe, PIAS, Ministry of Sound and Anjunabeats.

Working across social and digital marketing, retail marketing, streaming, live, labels and distribution has enabled me to develop extensive and unique expertise in developing artists and audiences, strategy, operations, planning, marketing, partnerships and project management, as well as a wide-ranging knowledge of the wider music and technology industries.

I’ve worked at Spotify UK & Ireland since 2017. I spent 4 years in Artist & Label Partnerships, working with the UK and Ireland’s leading independent artists, managers, labels and distributors to create best-in-class partnerships and music experiences, while at the same time educating and empowering the creative community. I then moved into Music Strategy & Operations, where my remit was to define and execute Spotify UK’s next steps in music by leading on team strategy, operations, planning and budgeting, setting and tracking key results across the team, and creating and implementing key team initiatives.

My current role is Market Strategy & Operations, where my remit is to help define, execute and evaluate Spotify’s business strategy and performance in the UK & Ireland across all business verticals (including Music, Podcasts and Audiobooks). Key responsibilities include leading on business planning and strategy, business analysis and insights, regional operating processes, and evaluating and executing on strategic market opportunities.

I am an active advocate for improving gender equity in music, and my work has seen me inducted into the Music Week Women in Music Awards Roll of Honour and Shesaid.so’s Alternative Power List. I have mentored for DevelopHer, an organisation dedicated to developing the careers of women in technology across all industries. And from its inception in early 2020 to late 2022, I was a proud local Lead for EQUAL, Spotify’s program dedicated to improving gender equity for women in music and audio.

I’m also a Global Ambassador for Heart & Soul, Spotify’s internal mental health and wellbeing program for employees, as well as a certified Mental Health First Aider.

Conferences & Events.

I’ve been a presenter, panellist and moderator at many music and technology conferences, including the likes of Amsterdam Dance Event, IMS Ibiza, Shesaid.so MEETSSS, FastForward, by:Larm, Midem, Music Biz Live, BIME, AIM Connected, AIM Future Independents, Brighton Music Conference, Ireland Music Week, Resonate Glasgow, SPOT Festival, Social Media Week and more.

I’m also experienced in event curation and programming. I was on the Advisory Board of Brighton Music Conference in 2016, working with the Conference Director to improve the event's diversity and gender equality in its lineup of speakers and contributors. I also programmed panels on video marketing, streaming and gender equality.

I have also been part of the team curating Amsterdam Dance Event's Pro conference strand, programming panels and keynotes across all areas of the music business.

Most recently, I planned and executed Spotify Day at Ireland Music Week in October 2022. This included 1:1 artist meetings with the Spotify Music Team, a Spotify For Artists Masterclass, a fireside chat with artist alumni of Ireland Music Week and an industry mixer.
